Multi-award winning musician Makhadzi has been cleared by doctors to return to work following her recent accident. Makhadzi Entertainment said she attended a medical check-up on Friday, 13 February, at Netcare Pholosho Hospital in Polokwane, where doctors confirmed she had recovered well.
Makhadzi, born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, is one of Africa’s most popular female artists.She also thanked Minister of Sport Gayton McKenzie, Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba, Polokwane Mayor John Mpe, her family, fellow artists and fans for their support.
“I am feeling good and would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Netcare Pholosho for taking care of me from day one,” she said. Her team said she continued making music during her recovery. New releases are expected soon.
A comeback performance has been scheduled for 1 May 2026 at Fountains Valley Resort in Pretoria. Makhadzi is now available for bookings.
