Editorial Policy

This policy explains how we verify reporting, manage sources, maintain editorial independence, and handle updates or corrections.

Last updated: January 31, 2026

1. Mission and Scope

We publish public-interest reporting designed to be factual, clear, and accountable. Our editorial mission is to prioritize verified information over speed alone.

2. Verification Standards

  • Claims are checked against primary sources where possible.
  • Material facts require corroboration before publication.
  • Unverified allegations are labeled clearly and contextually.
  • Headlines and social summaries must match confirmed facts.

3. Sourcing and Attribution

We attribute source material whenever possible. Anonymous sources may be used only when there is clear public interest and risk-aware editorial approval.

4. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently. Advertising, sponsorship, and commercial interests do not determine newsroom findings or conclusions.

5. Fairness and Right of Reply

We seek relevant comment from individuals or organizations subject to significant criticism and include their responses when available before publication.

6. AI and Automation Use

Assistive tools may support drafting or formatting workflows, but published reporting remains subject to human editorial review, factual verification, and accountability.

7. Updates and Corrections

We correct factual inaccuracies as soon as practical and publish material updates transparently. See our Corrections Policy for the full process.

8. Editorial Contact

Feedback, source materials, or editorial concerns can be submitted via our contact page.
