Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to administer certification and verification processes in order to issue certificates for learner achievements and verify certificates, qualifications and learner results for qualifications on the Occupational Qualifications
Key functions:
- Maintain and enhance the learner certification processes
- Process learner achievement data on Certification Systems
- Quality Assure submissions by Quality Partner’s through the Assessment Unit
- Maintain and update stock registers
- Print certificates after receiving approved and compliant submission within the timeframe allocated
- Dispatch Certificates to relevant Quality Partners
- Identify backlogs in order to manage and improve turnaround times
- Maintain and enhance the verification processes
- Administer processes for registration of new verification clients and system users
- Verify qualifications, learner results and certificates within the timeframe allocated
- Prepare correspondence for management approval as required
- Prepare reports (Including statistics) to management as required
- Maintain filed records and documents hard and/or soft copy as required
- Lead or support special projects related to certification processes and verifications processes for enhancement.
- Participate as an active member of the QCTO
- Adhere at all times to the values of the QCTO
- A recognised National Diploma at NQF level 6 Qualification.
- A minimum of three (3) years of collective experience in certification and verification of learner achievements.
- A valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of the education systems.
- Knowledge of Public Service.
- Knowledge of post-school education framework and relevant Government-wide legislation.
- Knowledge of legislative and prescripts such as the National Qualifications Framework Act, Skills Development Act, National Skills Development Strategy III.
- QCTO business strategies, goals and policies.
- Communication and information management.
- Diversity management and managing interpersonal conflict and resolving problems.
- Planning and organizing.
- Innovation, excellence, empowerment and recognition.
