Job purpose
Logistical support for Council and Committees
Key functions:
- Send requests for submission of logistical needs to members
- Prepare requisitions for Transport (flights and Cars) and the accommodation for members of Council and Council Committees
- Book flights, road travel, and accommodation for members
- Attend to enquiries on flights, road travel, and accommodation of members
- Process the issued Purchase Order on transport (flights and cars) and accommodation
- Support provided in preparation for the meeting and workshop for the relevant Council Committees
- Prepare submissions, requisitions, and memos as and when required for goods and services
- Facilitate the process to procure catering for approval and payments
- Receive and analyse invoices received from agencies and service providers
- Process invoices received from Agencies and service providers
- Submit the Council and Committees' remuneration and claims, and the process for signatures
- Process the remuneration and claims for Council and Committee, on the payments system for approvals.
- Submit signed remuneration and claims for Council and Committees for capturing on the SAGE system for Council, EXCO, and Council Committees members are prepared and submitted to finance for payment
- Attend to all enquiries in terms of all logistics and all Council and Committee members’ claims
- Prepare the remuneration and claims for Council and Committee and send to members for signatures.
- Prepare requisitions on received quotations of Council and Council Committees, Flight, accommodation, and car bookings for are prepared
A recognized National Diploma at NQF Level 6 Supply Chain Management or Finance Management

- Ability to work well with others and contribute to teamwork.
- Have the capacity to identify problems/ challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.

Other requirements:
- Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years.
- South Africans who are in possession of a minimum of a National Diploma at NQF level 6.
- No working experience required.

- Preference will be given to applicants residing within Gauteng Province.
- You must not have participated in any other internship programme.
