Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to provide services to people, deliver and collect documents and packages.
Key functions:
- Collect and chauffeur visitors, internal and external stakeholders.
- Collect and chauffeur QCTO Council members.
- Inspect and maintain pre-trip and after-trip inspections.
- Compile monthly vehicle inspection report.
- Manage timely deliveries or pickups, adhering to established schedules.
- Collect and deliver mail and documents.
- Maintain vehicle/s and the vehicle/s logbook/s.
- A recognised Higher Certificate or Advanced National Certificate at NQF 5 as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- A minimum of two (2) years collective experience in driving.
- A minimum of two (2) years performing driver/messenger duties.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDRP).
Knowledge in:
- Knowledge of Gauteng Province and its roads will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work overtime often or as and when required.
- Knowledge of delivery and collection guidelines.
- Knowledge of document safekeeping guidelines.
- Knowledge of road ordinance by-law.
- Communication skills.
- Planning and prioritising.
